A wise man once told me “If you are ever going to write your name on a wall, for the love of all that is evil in this world don’t write your own name.”
Which to be fair is good advice, the problem is I could never just settle on one name.
I got into graffiti and art in general to be fair, through skateboarding. I loved skateboarding and still do but to be honest I’ve never really that good at it. I could always draw though and the first time I ever seen someone write their name on a garage door I was hooked.
I’d practice my lettering at school more than my actual spelling.
After a while I started to loose interest in letters and wanted to paint larger and more detailed things. That comes with a whole host of new problems, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the more details something has the longer it takes to paint, the longer it takes to paint then the more daunting the task becomes.
So my friends and I started frequenting abandoned buildings a whole lot more.
When you paint that way, you paint purely for the picture and those who would walk their dogs through the same haunts. It didn’t take long for those pictures to be seen by those who were willing to pay for work and the rest, so they say, is history.
Nowadays I paint with a can and an iPad…
…but never at the same time. I now paint commissions rather than old dusty buildings both a digital limited edition prints and for companies, individuals and local authorities. How times have changed.

I film everything I paint for a number of reasons. Here are a selection of some of my latest street art and graffiti videos. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel by clicking the button below.
I painted this Stained Glass inspired Dinosaur mural in late 2018.
Fighting the elements over a couple of weeks wasn’t the easiest, plus the fact it was always a two pair of trousers and gloves day when it came to painting.
I think it turned out great though. Ive painted this space on four different occasions for this client and the locals always stop every year to talk about what’s going to be painted and how much they liked what it was the year before.
Its always a pleasure to paint this wall.
It’s not every day someone asks you to paint the front cover to American Interior by Gruff Rhys but in the Isle of Harris rather than the setting in the original picture but when they do you say yes without asking too many questions.
This was great to paint. I have many friends who are massive Gruff Rhys and Super Furry Animals fans so when it came up I knew it would be appreciated.
Its always good to paint a piece for someone which has a meaning behind it.
